It\u2019s a dance that uses the city as its inspiration but whose abstract narrative is pushed forward by the relationship between two protagonists and their encounters with each other on the streets.\u00a0With two screens we create the illusion of multiple street corners across the city. Our two protagonists will tap into their vast choreographic archive to dance with the\u00a0city which in turn will inspire new improvised movements inspired\u00a0by the architecture and the people.\u00a0Filming over one month across the city in different season, there will be an open invitation from\u00a0the\u00a0inhabitants\u00a0to observe or participate depending on their desire. There will be no need for people to do\u00a0something\u00a0as their presence will already influence the choreographies themselves. This time Tromso will be our collaborator as thoughts and reflections of the\u00a0city\u00a0will\u00a0become gestures and architecture will become movements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0<em>Around the corner in <\/em>Tromso\u00a0is a dialogue between Davis Freeman &amp; Liv Hanne Haugen as they navigate the streets of Tromso into their body.
